Ubisoft y Ubisoft Montreal anunciaron que el 'remake' de Prince of Persia The Sands of Time se lanzará para el 2026 y el juego contará con el apoyo de los estudios de desarrollo Ubisoft Toronto, Ubisoft Bucharest, Ubisoft Paris, Ubisoft Pune, y E-Studio. El juego es ahora titulado simplemente Prince of Persia The Sands of Time y no Prince of Persia The Sands of Time Remake.
