FunstockRetro ha anunciado 2 modelos de Mega Drive con licencia oficial de Sega, ambos con un catalogo amplio de 80 juegos pre-instalados entre los que se incluyen varios de Sonic the Hedgehog, Mortal Kombat, Golden Axe, Altered Beast y muchos más.
Mega Drive Classic Game Console es un modelo doméstico que se conecta a la televisión, es compatible con los cartuchos originales, y soporta dos mandos sin cable; y el Mega Drive Ultimate Portable Game Player es un modelo portátil, también con 80 juegos mediante tarjeta SD.
Ambos modelos de consolas se lanzarán en Octubre del presente año y serán motivo de celebración del 25 Aniversario de Sonic The Hedgehog. A continuación la lista de juegos en ambos:
