Square-Enix anunció Dragon Quest Monsters The Withered World para PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch , Nintendo Switch 2 y PC. No se anunció la fecha de lanzamiento. En Japón, el juego se titula Dragon Quest Monsters 4.
Dragon Quest Monsters The Withered World sigue la historia de Bianca y Nera, las protagonistas de Dragon Quest V Hand of the Heavenly Bride.
